Community Relations

Department Overview

The mission of Community Relations is to build greater public understanding, broader participation and productive partnerships for LAUSD Facilities projects. We:

Bring the community timely and accurate information.
Collect questions, concerns and feedback from the community and channel these to the decision-makers.
Provide a forum for direct dialogue between LAUSD Facilities Staff and the community.

Goal

To strengthen trust and collaboration between LAUSD Facilities and the communities we serve by ensuring transparent communication, meaningful public engagement, and equitable access to information throughout every phase of Facilities projects.
