CIVIC CENTER PERMITS

Civic Center Permits allow for the shared use of school facilities in conformance with the California Education Code (Ed Code 38130-38139) and the Board of Education rules.

Civic Center permits allow communities the use of District facilities for supervised not-for-profit recreational activities, meetings, and public discussions during non-school hours. Only specific groups and activities will qualify as Civic Center uses.

Please contact [email protected] to determine if you qualify or click here to start your application.

LICENSE AGREEMENTS

For uses and organizations that do not qualify under the Civic Center designation, a license agreement is required.

There are two types of license agreements which are differentiated by the number of days of use (Ed Code Section 17480) and defined as follows:

The license agreements are defined as follows:
  1. Short Term License Agreement (Less than 30 days of use in a fiscal year)
  2. Long Term License Agreement (More than 30 days of use in a fiscal year)
