Vision

Asset Management’s Planning Department goal is to align school facilities with the District’s educational vision, ensuring that investments support the instructional and operational needs of our schools. We update standards and guidelines to reflect evolving technologies and educational innovation, while tailoring them to the unique needs of individual school sites. By collaborating across District divisions, we translate instructional and operational priorities into physical learning environments that are inspiring, joyful, and designed to support learning and academic excellence.  

Project Prioritization and Planning

Our team leads capital planning and project development, including prioritization, programming, needs assessments, and scoping criteria. We research and support initiatives that influence Facilities’ programs, investments, and standards.

Standards and Evaluation

We develop and update educational and technical specifications, school design guide, and technical drawings, and we maintain the Asset Management project records database. We also conduct post-occupancy evaluations and assessments to inform future improvements.
